Pink Run presented by Phoebe Putney Health System

Join us for the Pink Run presented by Phoebe Putney Health System, the first event of the 7th Annual Flint River Entertainment Complex (FREC) 5K Race Series. Hosted at Veterans Park Amphitheatre in Downtown Albany, the Pink Run is a fun, family-friendly event that welcomes runners and walkers of all experience levels.

The race begins at 9:00 AM on Saturday, October 3, with the course starting and finishing at the Veterans Park Amphitheatre. This event features its own unique 5K course and kicks off a three-race series that continues throughout the fall.

Volunteer

We’re looking for volunteers to help make this year’s Pink Run a meaningful experience for everyone—from helping along the race course to supporting our water stations and cheering on participants. Groups, organizations and individuals are welcome! Send us a message to sign up.

Partner

We’re also looking for local businesses, nonprofits, healthcare organizations, makers and community partners who would like to help us create a special experience around breast cancer awareness. Whether you’d like to provide a resource, host an activity, donate an item or simply lend your support, we’d love to hear from you.

Pink Run Only

Participate in the Pink Run as a standalone event.

FREC 5K Race Series (All 3 Races)

Take on the full series and compete for overall awards.

• Registration Fee: $75
• Includes:
  • Entry to all three FREC 5K races:
    • Pink Run – October 3
    • Monster Dash – October 24
    • Turkey Trot – November 21
  • A race T-shirt for each event
  • Commemorative Race Series finisher medal (participants must complete all three races to receive the medal)
  • Eligibility for overall series awards

1-Mile Fun Run

A 1-Mile Fun Run is also available for participants of all ages.

• Registration Fee: $10
• Fun Run registration does not include a race T-shirt.

Packet Pickup

Race packets will be available for pickup on race day during registration, prior to the start of the event.

Race Series Awards

Participants registered for the FREC 5K Race Series will compete for overall 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place Grand Prizes, presented following the Turkey Trot on November 21. To be eligible for series awards and to receive the commemorative finisher medal, runners must complete all three races.
